OUR NEW DRV5-RV0 30 WATT DRIVER

Shown above are the Preset Current Output and Adjustable Current Output models of NTP's new DRV5-RV0 that can deliver up to 2000 ma and drive up to six NTP LED3-RV0 440 lumen led boards in two parallel strings of three. The DRV5-RV0 can also drive higher current leds such as the Cree XML series perfectly. This little blue devil will make your leds shine with pride. It has basically the same specifications as our DRV1-RV7 drivers but can deliver more current and may only be powered by 40 volts DC maximum unlike the DRV1-RV7 which can be powered by 48 VDC maximum and is better for longer strings of one watt leds. The DRV5-RV0 also has an optional on-board maximum current adjustment trimmer for those who like perfection. There are wire holes for a dimmer switch or on/off switch. We are extremely pleased with the operating temperature and performance of this new driver board. Great care was taken during the board design to make the on-board sink plane very efficient. As well the mounting holes are unmasked thus allowing less thermal resistance should one need to mount them on a heatsink. All of our tests so far have been done without any external heatsink. My best advice is to use these to drive FOUR LED3-RV1 NTP double led boards in series with a 28 Volt DC supply, setting the drivers to 700ma. With a 38VDC supply you can run up to FIVE 440 lumen boards totalling 320 watts equivalent of incandescent lighting (LED3-RV1) setting the drivers at 700ma OR use two parallel strings of THREE LED3-RV1 NTP double led boards totalling 2640 lumen setting the drivers at 1400ma with the on-board trimmer with a 24 VDC power supply for the most bang for your buck. These are definitely the most versatile constant current LED drivers on the market at this time. These are available in 350ma, 500ma, 700ma, 1000ma, 1400ma, 1700ma and adjustable current output from 100ma to 2000ma. All models have output short protection, overload protection and thermal shutdown protection. All wire holes can accept up to 20 gage stranded wire.

NOTE: In 2022 we added Over Voltage / Surge Protection on the driver control line inputs. This is better protection for outdoor installations with multiple drivers and long control lines connecting to a controller such as our DIM4.

DRV1-RV7 20 WATT DRIVER (Discontinued)

These 20 Watt Led drivers can be driven by up to 48 Vdc and can deliver up to 1000mA to power strings of Leds. For example, up to thirteen 1 watt leds or six 3 watt leds can be driven by one of these drivers. All internal components are overrated for high reliability. All inputs and outputs have protection circuitry including the control input. Power components are overrated at 6A including the current sensing resistor, inductor and kickback diode. The drivers are available in preset current outputs of 350mA, 700mA and 1000mA. The OPTIONAL control input lead wire allows for soft-on, dimming, and precise custom current outputs with an external resistor or potentiometer. They are also available with a mounting tab for a small additional cost per unit. Custom preset currents are also available in quantities of 10 or more at no additional cost. The control input wire is OPTIONAL on all models and no resistor or pot is necessary for models without a control wire. Our new DRV5-RV0 30 WATT DRIVER is also available for more power. It has become our most popular driver. All models have output short protection, overload protection and thermal shutdown protection. All wire holes can accept up to 20 gage stranded wire.

NTP also has a NEW Dimmer Model DIM4-RV0 that has all the same features as our previous dimmer and more. It also has a much lower overall board impedance. There is a choice between two black or chrome pushbutton ON/OFF switches. Other colors are available for large quantity orders. The template image shown is provided as well on paper. It also has convenient wire holes for mounting the on-off and dusk-dawn switches remotely. The board is normally mounted via the two switches and potentiometer but can be mounted soley by the potentiometer. The Dusk-dawn indicator and LDR are mounted securely to the board and only need through holes in the mounting plate. It can also control over 20 satellite drivers.

DIM5-RV0 BASIC CONTINUOS DIMMER

NTP also has a NEW Basic Dimmer Model DIM5-RV0 that has all the same basic features as our previous dimmer but with no dusk to dawn or PB switches. It mounts easily via the potentiometer bushing. A 1.21" x 1.15" size board with control, power and ground wire holes as well as an extra control and ground hole for hardwiring another driver or power control switch. 3.5 V max PWM at 1k ohm impedance output compatible with any led driver on the market. It can also control over 20 satellite drivers. The PWM output is a full 0% (0.0v ) to 100% (+ 3.5 v).

DIM1-RV1 DIMMER WITH DUSK-DAWN (Discontinued)

NTP also has a DIM1-RV1 Pulse Width Modulation dimmer that is designed for the DRV1-RV7 SATELLITE DRIVERS as well as other PWM controlled drivers with an adjustable PWM output voltage level for perfect matching to any PWM controllable driver. It is available with molex connectors or wire leads as shown in the two versions below. The dusk/dawn led indicator, dusk/dawn pushbutton and the dimmer control shaft with mounting bushing are on one side and the rest of the components on the other side. The dusk/dawn functions can simply be non-populated for custom orders if not desired or needed. The dimmers have output protection on the control line and can be powered via wires to the external wire holes on the driver boards. The power wires are included on the driver boards.

We recently added SINGLE LED BOARDS to our list of products. They are available with any of the color or white leds as shown in the data sheets above. The model numbers are shown on the data sheets.

NTP also has 5 WATT Double Led Boards Model LED5-RV0 (Warm White) and LED6-RV0 (Neutral White) We also have them in colors: RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, TEAL, BLUE, and MAGENTA. Each have two 2.5 watt leds and a total of 440 lumens running at 700ma. The colored leds are lower in lumens as all color leds are inherently lower. See the LED COLOR PDF data sheet link above for details. This new led board is very easy to mount with two 1/8" rivet or #4 bolt holes. The double led board only requires a total heatsink area of 12 square inches and still runs at 40 degrees C. (104 degrees F). The leds are connected in series resulting in a forward voltage drop of approximatley 7.0 volts. The boards also have pads for connecting the leds separately or in parallel and have notches where they may be cut in two for use as single leds. We use the highest quality led dies and the color temperature is 3000-3200k for Warm White and 4000-4500k for the Neutral White. We can supply special quantity orders in any color range from 3000k to 6000k. These led boards run cooler and use less current than typical hi power leds on boards currently on the market for the same lumens output. We now have several thousand in stock. Quantity orders will be filled in three weeks or less. They are very popular. We sold over 700 before the first production was finished! The boards are white in color with large solder pads for easy connections. Unlike other current led boards on the market these may be easily soldered when already attached to a heat sink. The recommended area for a heatsink made of a thin plate of aluminum is 12 square inches or more.

NEW DDC1-RV0 REMOTE DUSK TO DAWN

NTP also has a new DDC1-RV0 Dusk to Dawn Remote Controller that can be added to a system with a dimmer controller or used alone as a driver controller. It has a 2 second transient light suppressor to elimate false triggers. It uses less than 3ma to run and can be powered using an 8 to 48 VDC supply. As shown it comes with a pushbutton switch used for in or out of circuit control as well as a led in/out status indicator. The switch is used for mounting the board or it can be mounted via the central mounting hole with an outboard switch connected to the switch wire holes. A mounting template is included. Board size is 0.875" x 1.25". This can easily be mounted on any plate or in any box up to 1/4" thick. I can control an unlimited number of drivers. Control line is on or off depending on light level / in-out switch. The output can sink 200ma continuous, 500ma pulsed, 400mw at 60VDC maximum.

NEW TSW1-RV2 PROXIMITY TOUCH SWITCH

NTP also has a new TSW1-RV2 Proximity Touch Switch controller that can be added to a system with a dimmer controller or used alone as a driver controller. Standard models can be mounted behind up to 1/4" thick and custom models up to 1" thick non-conductive non-metallic panels and is simply attached to the back of the panel with hot glue or other method of choice. It does not actually have to be touched of course. The custom model with 1" distance is preferred for non-human contact applications. It defaults to ON or can be supplied to default to OFF for a stand alone controller on-off switch. When used with other controllers on the same control line it is best to default to OFF. It uses typically less than 3 ma to run and can be powered using an 8 to 48 VDC supply. Board size is 1.721" x 0.918". Overall board thickness is less than 3/8". This can easily be mounted behind any plate or in any plastic or metal box that has a plastic front panel up to 1/4" thick. I can control an unlimited number of drivers. Touch to turn off, touch to turn on. These can be potted in hot glue or epoxy and are available dipped in a weatherproof coating. These switches can be used to power on or off anything that uses electricity. The output can sink up to 200ma continuous, 500ma pulse, 400mw at 60 VDC maximum.

NEW TABLE LAMP WITH ON-OFF AND DIM SWITCH

NTP also has a new Table lamp LMP1-RV0 that includes Driver model DRV2-RV0 that has two pushbutton switches, one a power switch and one a dimmer switch. It also has two of the LED3-RV0 led boards mounted on the top of the tower. The lamp has a 5.5" solid red oak base with a red oak / gold aluminum tower. The lamp is available in a dark wood / silver metal tower as well for a more contemporary look. The total output is 880 lumens and is equivalent to a 120 watt incandescent light bulb warm color. The total power used on full is 10.5 watts and on dim which appears half birght is 2.5 watts. It is excellent for any room ambient lighting as well as a night light when set on Dim. An AC to DC wall type adpater is included. The shade is not included. The shade harp / pole is extendable from 6" to 10" making it compatible with shades from 8" to 18" bottom diameter. A gold or silver finial is included depending on color style.

NTP also has a new DIM6-RV0 that will be available soon. Besides being a great soft on-off controller the SLOW on-off models will be an excellent fish light dimmer for aquariums, having a gradual on-off time of 60 seconds to 7 MINUTES! SOFT on-off models will have a one second on-off time for a pleasing on-off effect. I has the same output impedance and levels as all of our other dimmers and also has the same PWM frequency with 0-100% modulation. As well since it is a Voltage Controlled PWM an external voltage control input is provided for use as an audio level light controller or even a motor controller (if an external power mosfet is added to handle the motor current). Your imagination is the limit with this one. As usual it is designed for long life and reliability in many enviroments.

NEW GLOWING EMBER TABLE LAMP

NTP also has a new FTL2-RV0 Glowing Ember Table Lamp available. It also has an ADJUSTABLE FLICKER level and has a very authentic look to actual glowing embers and looks great for a center piece on any table. Equivalent brightness of a 60 watt incandescent light bulb this lamp will easily light up an entire room. This is not a cheap led toy. It is a powerful lamp that will light up any room. We will be offering it for sale on Amazon starting in November 2018.

NEW AC OVERFLOW PAN SWITCH

NTP also has a new MSW1 AIR CONDITIONER OVERFLOW PAN SWITCH available. It features stainless steel probe elements, LED indicators for showing if there is water in the pan or not, and connects to the existing 24 volt power supply that is already available in the AC unit. The Probe easily attaches to the side of the pan. It also resets automatically once moisture is removed from the pan. It has red/black leads for connecting as the switch. The probe leads are already connected. The other set of black leads are connected to the AC's 24 volt power transformer supply.
